  • COVID19 reporting and contacts over the Easter holiday

    Fri 26 Mar 2021

    Dear Parents/Carers.

COVID19 reporting and contacts over the Easter holiday

Please remember, you need to inform school if your child has tested positive for Covid-19. This is still the case during the Christmas holiday.

If your child shows symptoms of Covid-19 within 48 hours of last being in school, you should report this to school immediately by emailing enquiries@hallpark.lancs.sch.uk or calling 07709 772831 and leaving a voice mail.  You must seek a test as soon as possible and inform the school of the result, as soon as you receive it, even if the result is negative.  Again, you can do this by emailing enquiries@hallpark.lancs.sch.uk or calling 07709 772831 and leaving a voice mail.

If your child tests positive for Covid-19 having shown symptoms within 48 hours of last being in school, we need to be informed immediately and one of our team will be on hand to notify any other pupils in your child's bubble and their families so they can self-isolate for ten days.

It is vital you tell us about positive tests so we can help prevent the spread of coronavirus in our community.  This is particularly important if your child develops symptoms within 48 hours of last being in school.

If a pupil develops symptoms after 48 hours of last being in school and then tests positive then contact tracing should be picked up by the NHS Test and Trace Service.

PLEASE NOTE: We ask that you keep us informed, via the school email enquiries@hallpark.lancs.sch.uk, of any positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed during the Easter Holiday.

  • 2019/2020 School Games Virtual Sport Award

Thu 15 Oct 2020 Mrs Bowker

In March 2020, school experienced lockdown and was only open for the children of key workers.  However, we continued with a full online offer and, as a school who believes in health and physical well-being, we continued to actively support our children to engage in sport and physical activity.

Throughout the spring and summer terms we took part in the Spar Lancashire School Games Challenges, and in recognition of this we received the nationally recognised School Games Mark Virtual Award.

This award highlights our school and our wider communities commitment to competitive school sport through the second half of the 2019-2020 academic year.

    Well done Hall Park!

  • Have you heard about TIME?

    Tue 22 Sep 2020

    The TIME Project

TIME Extended aims to explore ways of empowering schools to develop and support their arts provision and ways of embedding the arts across the curriculum, to help inspire learning and attain higher levels of academic achievement.

In 2018/19 Year 6 took part in the project.  In 2019/20 Year 2 and Year 4 took part.

This year will be our final year of the project and we had worried that the COVID-19 pandemic might mean a delay or even a cancellation.  Thankfully the TIME team are creative and determined people and we have been able to carry on using the wonders of modern technology.  This year, 2020/21, Year 5 and Year 1 are taking part and we are using video conferencing to allow the artists to 'visit' the classes and teach.  Brilliant!
