We are proud holders of the Lancashire Equality and Inclusion Mark, recognising our commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion throughout our curriculum, policies and everyday practice.

Our Equality Mark journey includes:

• Different Families, Same Love Badge (2021/22)

Having achieved all five badges, we were awarded the Lancashire Equality and Inclusion Mark.

Reaccreditation 2026

In July 2026, we successfully achieved reaccreditation of the Lancashire Equality and Inclusion Mark, including:

• Race Equality Badge Reaccreditation
• Sex Equality Badge Reaccreditation
• Holistic Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Badge

The accreditation team recognised the strong culture of inclusion across the school and highlighted our commitment to ensuring that every child feels safe, valued, respected and supported to thrive.

One pupil ambassador summarised our ethos perfectly:

“Our school makes sure everyone is included and celebrates everyone.”

United Against Bullying

Lytham Hall Park Primary School and Nursery is a proud participant in the United Against Bullying Programme.

Our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors work alongside pupils and staff to help create a school culture where everyone feels safe, respected and included. The programme supports schools in reducing bullying and improving wellbeing for all children, particularly those who may be vulnerable to discrimination or prejudice.

Our Equality Objectives (2026-2030)

1. Inclusive Practice and Participation
   Remove barriers to participation and strengthen inclusive practice so that all pupils can achieve and thrive.

2. Equity in Outcomes
   Monitor attendance, attainment, progress, behaviour and participation to identify and address inequalities.

3. Representation, Diversity and Belonging
   Ensure that the curriculum and wider life of the school promote understanding, respect and positive representation of different cultures, religions, backgrounds and identities.
