Arts & Enquiry Week 2026
Arts and Enquiry Week 2026 – "It's Up to Us"

This year’s Arts and Enquiry Week was inspired by Sir David Attenborough’s centenary year and centred on the theme, “It’s Up to Us.” The week encouraged children to consider their role in protecting the planet and caring for the natural world.
Miss Ainsworth launched the week with an assembly focused on environmental responsibility, biodiversity and the positive actions we can all take to make a difference. Inspired by Sir David Attenborough’s work, children reflected on both the beauty of our world and the importance of safeguarding it for future generations.
Using carefully selected texts as a stimulus, each class explored themes including conservation, climate change, habitats and sustainability. Through music, poetry, rap, artwork and performance, children expressed their learning creatively while recognising the beauty and the splendour of our planet.
The week concluded with a vibrant showcase of art, music and enquiry, celebrating the children’s creativity and their understanding that every action can have a positive impact. Arts and Enquiry Week 2026 was a memorable reminder that when it comes to the future of our planet, it’s up to us.
