Pupil Achievement
Performance Tables
We are extremely proud of all our children's achievements. It is our aim to develop children as confident, independent learners who can take pleasure in their studies. We welcome innovation but also place great value in the traditional elements of school life: good manners, politeness, honesty and mutual respect. We want our children to care for others, to have enquiring minds and discover the talents and abilities that are special to them. It also leads to the excellent attainment which is embedded in the history of our school.

Primary School Assessments in England: What Parents Need to Know
Throughout primary school, your child will take part in several assessments to help track their learning and development. Here’s a simple breakdown of when these happen and what they involve:
Reception Baseline Assessment
This takes place in the first 6 weeks of Reception. It’s a short, one-to-one activity with a teacher that helps measure your child’s starting point in maths, language, and communication.Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Profile
Completed between April and June of the Reception year (when your child is 4 or 5). Teachers assess how your child is doing across key areas of learning to give a rounded picture of their development.Phonics Screening Check
Takes place in June of Year 1. This is a short assessment where your child reads a mix of real and made-up words aloud to check how well they’re learning phonics (the sounds letters make).Multiplication Tables Check
Happens in June of Year 4. It’s a quick online check to see how well your child knows their times tables up to 12 × 12.Key Stage 2 Tests (SATs)
These take place in May of Year 6 and cover English and maths. They help show how well your child has learned during primary school and are sent to secondary schools as part of the transition process.
