Hall Park is a happy and busy community primary school currently catering for over 410 delightful children between the ages of four and eleven years. We are a popular school and we are proud of the excellent reputation we have in our local community. Our school is housed in a modern building with semi-open plan style classrooms and beautiful grounds which we use regularly. We are a two form entry primary school with an admission number of 60 pupils each year. From September 2017 all our year groups have had two classes. A significant building project has been completed which has provided us with six new classrooms and a purpose built assembly hall large enough to accommodate all our pupils. We have also refurbished the existing areas of school to ensure all our children enjoy classrooms which are light and bright.

Through a well-resourced environment and a belief in high standards and enrichment, we help our children to feel safe, cared for and confident. We have proven that this ethos leads to high academic standards as well as ensuring that our children have the opportunity to develop into well rounded individuals. It is our aim to develop children as confident, independent learners who can take pleasure in their learning. We welcome innovation but also place great value in the traditional elements of school life: good manners, politeness, honesty and mutual respect. We want our children to care for others, to have enquiring minds and discover the talents and abilities that are special to them.

Our school has a unique family ethos which remains at the heart of our success with visitors often commenting on the calm, friendly and nurturing atmosphere. most recent (February 2018) OFSTED report highlighted how our pupils recognise and appreciate the opportunities to learn and the high quality care they receive.

We pride ourselves in offering a curriculum which is creative, challenging and engaging; a curriculum which follows the requirements of the National Curriculum in all areas. Lessons are clearly differentiated to meet the individual needs of all pupils, and we recognise that there are times when every child may need extra support to ensure they reach their true potential.

Our school motto - “Discamus As Vivendum, Let’s Learn to Live'  encapsulates the attitudes for which we strive, ensuring our children grow into young adults who see learning as an exciting and integral part of their daily lives.
